The Department of Physics was established in the year 1981. The Department of Physics is one of the vibrant departments of the college. A team well experienced, highly motivated faculty with proven excellence in teaching and research carrying forward the motto of the institution. The Department aims to disseminate knowledge and skill based understanding of the concepts of science especially in areas relevant to Engineering and Technology. The department is equipped with modern lab and research facilities to improve the student's science knowledge and skills in order to make them to face the challenges in their professional career.

 

PHYSICS LABORATORY

It possesses excellent facilities and sophisticated equipments to provide students, the best possible education with training to develop adequate practical skills during the course of study. The Laboratory is well equipped to cater the needs of students. It has modern equipment like Galvanometer, Spectrometer, Potentiometer, Advanced LaserEquipment, and Ultrasonic Interferometer The students are instructed to learn through the experiments in the areas of optics, heat, electricity, acoustics, electronics and material science. A separate darkroom is available to conduct experiments in spectrometer and laser
